Entirely up to guests how much or little they wish to interact with us. Raven and I are happy to guide guests on a hike on our property and/or take a short drive to spectacular Papineau waterfalls or the gorgeous sandy beach at Kamaniskeg Lake, a 15 minute drive east. We can also recommend places to see or shop or dine in the area.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTICE

Musclow Greenview is rich in mineral deposits of quartz, granite, micah, feldspar, in particular, diopside and albite. The frequencies of these semi-precious minerals can uplift the mood and have profound healing effects on the body, mind, and soul. Walk barefoot on the land whenever possible. The healing properties of diopside include heart opening, healing of heart wounding and releasing repressed grief – which is why diopside is called “the crying stone”. Albite brings calm, clarity of the mind and enhances intuitive and psychic abilities.

HOUSE RULES

At the moment, not suitable for pets. However, we are planning to build an outdoor kennel for canine guests in the future. Stairs may not be safe or suitable for infants (Under 3 years)We have 1 house dog, a 10 year old hairless terrier named MacTavish, who tends to shy away from crowds and loud noises. Our 2 Turkish Boz Shepherd LGDs (Livestock Guardian Dogs), Tor and Khaleesi work in the pasture protecting our 2 Icelandic sheep, our alpacas and other animals. Because they are working dogs, we need guests to stay out of the fenced-in pasture, unless accompanied by Daemon or Raven. Designated space for smoking is outside. An ashtray is provided. Please do not leave butts lying around. Also be mindful of energy conservation and turn off lights in rooms that are not being used. If you are bringing garbage bags to use, please select the transparent bags as these are the only ones accepted at the dump. Kitchen access is closed at 9pm. Be mindful to soften loud voices and heavy foot steps after 11pm. Thank you.
